Excessive

I didn't get to bed until late last night for a few reasons... one of the reasons being I had to help Michelle get Diablo 2 working correctly, and that took until around 1:30am, which wasn't really in the plan. Initially, the problem was that when she went into multiplayer, and click on TCP/IP, the host and join game buttons were greyed out, and it displayed 'Diablo 2 could not determine a valid ip address'. Obviously she has a valid ip, since she's online, can play other tcp/ip based games (StarCraft for instance), and I personally just recently set up her router, so I knew she had a specific ip address. Regardless of how stupid it was, I decided to reinstall Dablo 2, fresh from real cds (I lent her mine) and that's what we did. Once it was reinstalled, we discovered it was still fucked up just as before, so I did more google searching, and found this random, unrelated article that had something to do with Wine (not the drink) and it mentioned that having your hostname as localhost can screw up some, if not all, tcp/ip based applications. I knew it was a long shot, but I decided to just see, because there was nothing else left I could really think of. I had her open her system properties, go to computer name, and there it was, Computer Name: localhost. I had her change it to muchelle, restart the computer, and test Diablo 2. Ta da... fixed. The new Thursday album is really good.

Ally came over this afternoon and we kicked it watching Family Guy, chillaxing with the DS and various other activities, until around 4:30pm when Michelle got home. From there we chillaxed a bit more, and eventually Ally left!

Alright, I'm up! Tidus helped me get up... a lot... very often, so I eventually locked him out of my room, but there's nothing worse than getting woken up every hour just to find a stupid cat chewing on something or meowing or writing in his blog. Eventually I let him back in because he had woke me up again clawing at the door constantly for what seemed like six hours straight, and he then proceeded to vomit on my floor, twice (thus waking me up again).

Now that I'm up, I made a nice breakfast of a bagel and cream cheese and a coffee, and I'm watching The Cosby Show, and I've got the windows open and for once the breeze isn't making my hands freezing cold, so I can enjoy it and not have to close it right away.

Ally might come over today during the afternoon (before I go to Michelle's to fix her computer/network), so before she comes over I want to tidy up a few things, like just put away my pijamas, do yesterdays dishes and preferrably switch out the kitty litter for a clean pile... it'd probably only take me a half hour to all that, so I'll probably start at 2pm, after The Cosby Show... whether or not Ally comes over won't make a difference if I do it or not, I'll just do it regardless.

Blade Trinity was decent last night... it was probably the worst of the three, but it was still fun to watch. The humour in it seemed very forced (at no fault of Ryan Reynolds) and the plot seemed extremely thin compared to what a comic book based movie should be, but the action was fun and there were a few parts I giggled at. I'd probably only give it a 6, but a good 6, in that... fun to watch-yet not that great action movie.

Tonight is probably going to be the night I watch Benchwarmers or Final Destination 3... not sure which one yet.

Well... looks like the day has started pretty decently... let's keep it going!

I woke up late today, around 1pm, but I still managed to make myself a decent breakfast of a bagel and a coffee, which I don't normally do when I wake up that late... I figured it would help energize me and put me in a good mood... I was a bit off.

I didn't really do that much today... did some troubleshooting, fixed a problem in the forum I thought I had already fixed, and worked on my layout for a new script. I was feeling pretty down today, so my productivity takes a hit.

Now that I've bathed, I'm going to relax, make some popcorn and watch Blade Trinity (as tonights movie). I'm looking forward to it, since I enjoy dark vampire movies (Blade and Underworld come to mind)... it should be a fun and entertaining movie.

I'll write a good morning post tomorrow, because this entry seems lacking hehe.

OMG NOOBS ARE FRUSTRATING!

People with real problems are easier to deal with than noobs.

I guess the day is over... tonight went by pretty quickly and I didn't really enjoy that. I'm pretty tired, and am actually in the mood to lay down and watch a movie or something... so much so that I had a bath a few hours ago in an attempt to get into a relaxing mode, but I ended up just sitting in front of the computer for hours afterwards.

I played some StarCraft with Michelle and Tony, which took up some of the time, and I fixed a few bugs in the forum (as noted below) and the rest of the time was just.. I dunno... normal Sunday night nothingness.

Today was a pretty good day I suppose, although everything in it seemed to whiz by at blinding speeds. It felt like I was at my Sister's for an hour or two at most, and the rest is just kind of a blurred memory I can't quite make out. I've felt alone for the majority of today, and I'm under the impression that I'll be alone all of tomorrow as well, and that feeling definatley takes away some of my motivation to... get out of bed, eat, cook, enjoy the day, etc... it all seems pointless since I'm just going to get in bed again eventually, and no one and nothing will see me in between. I guess it makes things feel meaningless in a way.

Well... I've decided to watch a movie before I go to sleep... to get me really tired. I'm not sure which one yet, but it doesn't really matter that much... I just need something on in the room to keep me company; I think I'll let Tidus sleep on me tonight, he always makes me feel good when I'm sad.

I spent a little bit of time tonight creating a rough layout design for a new project and I'm pretty happy with the ideas I've got so far... real fancy-like, less plain-text/tables crap, more images. I've just got to finalize the project specifics... like the seconds, features and ideas I want to include, so I can put them into the layout, and then start the actual HTML coding of the layout, and then once the layout is done, start the scripting in PHP and MySQL.

Oooh, just as a side note, I got a Mr. Munchie from my Mom for Easter or whatever, and I love me my rice crispy chocolate.

I think I'll find a movie to watch now and head to bed.

Excessive Forum Updates

I noticed today while I was at my sisters that when a user isn't logged in there were a few bugs (which I never noticed because I'm always logged in), so I fixed them tonight. Here are the changes:

I'm heading to my Sister's today to make her and my Mom a roast chicken dinner in celebration of... eggs I think.. not sure.

I'm kinda sad that I'm going alone, but I haven't had a chance to talk to Linzie in forever and Michelle has family stuff to do, so going alone is really my only option. I don't think it will be boring or anything, it's just always nice to bring company along with you to family occasions.
