Excessive

I had a pretty rough few days - the end of last week into this start of this week. It was so bad I had to take some days off work to just try to decompress and figure out what I was going through. I pretty much just played Final Fantasy 14 for both my Thursday and Friday as a means to escape and it did help a bit. 

It's been awhile since I've written and most of the time breaks are caused by depression or extreme exaustion, but this time it's just been caused from forgetfulness and playing too many games. Yes, for this week I've been off school, I've relaxed and played games guilt-free, without worrying about what I should be doing. I've been playing a bunch of games that I've had on the go forever, as well as restarting a couple that I had played before but only for an hour or so, and never went back to.

Today was a pretty terrible day really, I try not to think about it, but the feeling can't help but creep back into my mind, reminding me that I didn't really enjoy my day. I woke up at 10am as I tend to do on days off, and made some breakfast. I had two pieces of toast with scrambled eggs on them and a coffee.

Yup, so heat = headache.

It's gonna rain in a few minutes and I'm sitting here in the dark eagerly awaiting the first raindrop. Hopefully after it rains it will be nice and cool and the humidity will disappear. I also hope that the storm lasts a long time because I'm in the mood to listen to some rain for awhile.

Why is it so impossible to find information on putting HTML in an RSS feed? I want to use p and br tags, and links and images in my feed, but I can't find anywhere that says how, and I've searched google for 6 or 7 different phrases. Fuck this shit.

After eating supper and watching an episode of Criminal Minds, I sat back down and decided to give RSS 2.0 a shot, because RSS 0.9 and Atom feeds didn't quite work as I had hoped. I simply went to a website that used RSS 2.0 for their feed, downloaded their XML file and looked at how they did it.

I've been trying to think of an easy to understand way to explain what RSS is, why a normal person would use it, and why, and here's what I've come up with (since the RSS wikipedia entry is so horrible at explaining it).

For those of you who use OS X and communicate over the MSN network through one of many IM apps, a fact that stands out is that there is no webcam support, which is very disappointing, because sending webcam can be fun, useful in showing off one's genitals, and good for keeping someone company.

It's just about 5:00am and I really should be tired, and in fact I really wish I was tired, although I'm stubborn and have refused thusfar to take a sleeping pill, mostly out of spite because last night I took one and slept until 4:30pm, and nothing like sleeping until that late can piss me off more. I guess I could take one and just hope that I don't sleep way too late for my own mental health.
